Con-Force Structures Ltd. is a Richmond, BC-based concrete precast manufacturing company specializing in pre‑stressed pre-cast concrete for customized structural, architectural, and engineered products. Our products include heavy industrial bridges, parkades, stadiums, buildings, dock structures, hollowcore flooring, rapid transit lines, deck panels, box beams, and double tees. Con-Force has an immediate and exciting opportunity for permanent, full-time, unionized, **qualified Steel Tiers** in our Rebar department.

**Steel Tier, Full-Time**

Minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

6:00 AM - 2:30 PM shift (some changes may occur due to job requirements)

All work performed at manufacturing facility in Richmond

**Wo**r**k Conditions and Physical Capabilities:*

Physically demanding

Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs.)

Able to use hands and frequent movement of wrists for long periods of time (tying and twisting)

Standing and or bending/kneeling for extended periods

Fast paced, high productivity

Hazards include noise, dust, and heavy equipment

**Jo**b Duties include but are not limited to**:
Tying rebar to fabricate reinforcing cages per drawings and applicable tolerances

Read and interpret drawings to accurately fabricate the required bent reinforcing bars

Consistently produce quality products within tight tolerances with attention to detail

Coordinate with supervisors for material orders and coordinate duties as needed

Maintain a clean workspace and work respectfully in shared work areas

**Requirements**:
Ability to speak, read and comprehend written instructions in English

Safety conscious

Must have good organizational skills

Must be reliable and punctual

Must have reliable transportation - public transit is not available for these shifts

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

*Experience in Precast Concrete an asset
