We have supplied over 200 MW of racking solutions ranging from our standard TGR flat roof ballasted system, our TGT tilted pitched roof system, to our TGP flush mount system and custom site-specific designs for various customers. **Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**:

- Build and maintain strong and successful relationships with new and repeat customers.
- Educate customers on how our products or services can benefit them and where we can solve unique challenges for them.
- Travel within sales territory (when prompted and where beneficial) to meet prospects and customers
- Participate in trade shows when necessary.
- Conduct outbound calls, webinars, video calls, and face-to-face meetings with new and potential customers daily.
- Attend all internal and external meetings as required.
- Work with the TerraGen team to identify tools, strategies, initiatives, and create an execution plan that will allow for continued growth.
- Work closely with our Marketing department and provide feedback to help build the brand and marketing assets that would better position successful sales pitches and repeat business.
- Collaborate with our inside Sales Team to ensure proposal timelines and pricing expectations are being met.
- Provide feedback to our Project Management and Engineering Teams as to the objections, challenges, and drawbacks the market sees in our products. While providing new product development recommendations.
- Generate new business leads and opportunities while driving new customer acquisition.
- Prepare and analyze data to build the sales pipeline
- Collaborate with our inside Sales Team to ensure proposal timelines and pricing expectations are being met.

**Requirements**:

- Education in a related field preferred
- Sale experience preferred
- Experience within the solar industry preferred
- Ability to analyze information and make strategic comments
- Well-developed phone presence and high comfort in initiating conversations
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Takes initiative and is a go-getter, does not need to be told what to do
- Strong organization, attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient within Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel and Word
- Team oriented with a positive attitude, eager to learn and the ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for work is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $45,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Alliston, ON L9R 1E9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
