**Fat Ox** is Banff’s boldest new dining experience-an Alpine Italian restaurant where comfort food meets big energy. We're growing fast and looking for a passionate **Restaurant Manager** to help lead the charge.

Important: Applicants must already live in the Bow Valley region and have their own accommodation. At this time, housing is not provided with this role.

What You’ll Do

**Leadership & Guest Experience**
- Lead daily front-of-house operations with confidence and energy.
- Be present on the floor, set the tone, and drive an unforgettable guest experience.
- Train, coach, and support your team to deliver excellence every shift.
- Resolve guest concerns swiftly and professionally—own the outcome.

**Operations & Sales**
- Support the General Manager in achieving sales, labor, and service targets.
- Manage team schedules, station flow, and floor plan execution.
- Oversee service timing and table turns to maximize cover counts.
- Help track and optimize server performance and upselling strategies.

**Team Development & Culture**
- Create a fun, focused, and performance-driven work environment.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings, team huddles, and service refreshers.
- Foster collaboration between FOH and BOH teams.
- Recognize, reward, and build future leaders from within.

**Events & Activations**
- Help execute in-house events like weddings, wine dinners, and patio parties.
- Support private bookings and group functions.
- Ensure event experiences align with brand tone and service goals.

What You Bring
- 2+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, full-service concept
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- A guest-first mindset and hands-on management style
- Comfortable with scheduling tools, POS systems, and performance metrics
- Passion for food, beverage, and creating memorable experiences
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- **Current residency in the Bow Valley area and your own housing (mandatory)**

Pay: $48,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
