We are committed to creating an environment where every team member feels included, respected, empowered and recognised. **Job Summary** **Principal Duties and Responsibilities** **%** 25 Participate in the SPPA & SCNs and meet project timelines. 15 Plan, place and follow up on orders. 10 Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors. 10 Planning inventory material to respond to the supply & demand of an NPI. 5 Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that meet cost, quality, and delivery standards. 5 Collaborate with internal departments to forecast needs and plan sourcing strategies. 10 Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers & Implementing MSA (Master Supply Agreements) 5 Monitor Supplier’s performance, maintain and communicate KPI to measure supplier’s performance and deliveries and implement improvements when needed. 10 Manage and maintain the Products Standard Costs. 5 Support and manage the sourcing process for spending initiatives. 100 Total Percent (not to exceed 100%) - Individual percents should be greater than or equal to 5%. **_ This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and may not necessarily comprise all of the "essential functions" for purposes of the ADA._** **Expected Areas of Competence (i.e. KSAs)** - 3 to 5 year’s experience in Procurement. - Comfortable in French and English written and spoken. - Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Advance computer skills and very Knowledgeable of Excel. - Assess, define, and tactfully resolve procurement issues including contractual terms and conditions and escalations by internal stakeholders and suppliers. - Driving the procurement process by implementing and managing projects to a successful conclusion. - The ability to leverage interpersonal skills to establish and develop relationships with all key stakeholders: suppliers, customers & colleagues. - The ability to persuade, influence and explore positions and alternatives to reach outcomes that will gain acceptance of all parties and will meet Zimmer Biomet’s strategic procurement objectives. - The ability to visualize, articulate, and solve both complex and uncomplicated problems and concepts and make decisions that make sense based on all available information. - The ability and drive for achieving and surpassing targets against an internal or external standards of excellence.
