Strategic Sourcing Specialist - Human Resources, Global Communications & Marketing

As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist - Human Resources, Global Communications & Marketing, you will have the opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders, the broader Global Procurement & Supply Management team, and external partners to drive competitive category and supplier strategies. Your focus will be on optimizing value, ensuring service excellence, and mitigating risk across a wide range of services including talent acquisition, employee benefits, learning and development, communications, and marketing.

Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Partnership:

- Understand internal stakeholder needs across HR, Communications, and Marketing functions.
- Develop and execute category strategies aligned with CAE’s global and local business objectives.
- Provide strategic sourcing guidance and category management expertise.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Support transformation initiatives and drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes.

Category Management:

- Lead sourcing initiatives for:

- Talent acquisition and recruitment services
- Employee benefits and wellness programs
- Learning and development platforms
- Communications tools and services
- Creative, media, and digital marketing agencies
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify trends, innovations, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Deliver sustainable value through cost optimization, supplier performance, and innovation.

Supplier Relationship Management:

- Build and manage strategic supplier relationships.
- Negotiate and manage contracts in collaboration with Legal and other internal stakeholders.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure service excellence.
- Ensure supplier compliance with ESG standards and CAE’s procurement policies.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers that align with CAE’s innovation and diversity goals

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, HR, Marketing, or a related field.
- Bilingual in English and French preferred; additional languages are an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with BI tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with HR and Marketing technologies and services is highly desirable.

Experience:

- 2-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management.
- Experience in Human Resources, Communications, or Marketing categories is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Ariba) is an asset.
