**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Must demonstrate the ability to prime and paint under mínimal or no supervision
- Display a high knowledge of the current Tint / Paint Mixing equipment including system maintenance
- Display a strong knowledge of all products to be painted
- Able to operate all paint equipment and booths; as well as maintain in first class condition
- Able to trouble shoot and maintain equipment as required
- Demonstrate ability to operate a spray gun with a high degree of efficiency
- Demonstrate ability to solve paint related problems
- Ability to adjust all equipment to ensure optimum paint transfer
- Demonstrate ability to maintain a good quality finish on all products
- Must be capable to select and mix paint using the best methods to achieve required colours, sheen and mil thickness
- Must keep a clean and organized work area
- Follow and adhere to all housekeeping, health, and safety standards
- Proper care and daily maintenance of the assigned / department tools and equipment
- Must support and adhere to all Lean and 5S initiatives

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- Previous automotive paint experience.
- Physically capable of using safety equipment, such as a respirator, and other personal protective equipment
- Ability to read and follow intermediate measurements, possess elementary mechanical aptitude.
- Attention to detail is a must
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Good communication skills, ability to work with little supervision, and ability to work in a team environment
