As the **Development Manager** of the Swan Team, you will play a crucial role in managing our development team, ensuring that web3 projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with Product Managers (PMs) to translate product vision into technical specifications and lead the execution through the software development lifecycle.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the development team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of web3 technologies, blockchain protocols, and the wider ecosystem to effectively guide the team's development efforts.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects by managing the development lifecycle, from planning and design to development, testing, and deployment.
- Implement best practices for software development, including agile methodologies, code reviews, and quality assurance processes.
- Act as a mentor and coach to team members, supporting their growth and development within the web3 space. - Facilitate communication between the development team and other departments, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ability to quickly take over projects, demonstrating strong leadership and project management skills.
- Competence in designing and optimizing project architectures to ensure high performance and scalability.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (master's degree is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with 2+ proven experience as a Development Manager or in a similar leadership role within software development, with a strong background in web3 technologies and blockchain.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and lead a team towards successful project delivery.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively with Product Managers and cross-functional teams.
- A problem-solver mindset with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving web3 space.
- Deep knowledge of Python, Flask, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and experience with Go is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly understand and take charge of projects, with a proven track record in designing and optimizing project architectures for better performance and scalability.
