Smoke's Poutinerie, a cool distinctive concept with a broad menu exclusive to Poutine, operates an international franchised restaurant chain in the four-wall, educational, transportation and sports & entertainment sectors. We have a unique relationship with our Fans and consider ourselves an Entertainment Company over a restaurant company. We are a group of fun, energetic, social, hardworking, service-oriented people who are looking for a like-minded individual who shares the same vision and fits the atmosphere of the **Smoke's Poutinerie Brand**.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the development and implement of social media calendars and content strategies for all platforms
- Generate metrics reports and craft analyses based on the data as well as assist in developing recommendations
- Creatively and proactively engage with our audience online, in a timely manner, to drive favourable relationships and conversations
- Grow Brand awareness among all our social media platforms
- Attend, assist and cover social events and influencer opportunities
- Assist with the design and execution of various special marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with the marketing team on all content, guided by our Brand guidelines and voice
- Assist in product photo/video shoots for dissemination on social media
- Stay up to date on new social media tools and practices, follow our competitors’ social strategies, suggest improvements when necessary and present findings to management group

**Necessary Skills and Qualifications**
- A proud Canadian... or a close proximity
- A fondness for the 1980's, Hair Bands and Glam Rock
- A diploma/degree in digital marketing, writing (or journalism), creative advertising, communications or equivalent combination of education and work
- Minimum of 1+ years of work experience managing a national or regional brand’s social media outreach and content creation with demonstrated success in engagement while increasing followers
- Superior writing ability and communication skills so that our Brand voice is broadcast to the community in an authentic, relatable way
- Demonstrated knowledge of social media best practices and metrics
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle competing deadlines in a fast-paced constantly changing environment
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Video and Photo shooting and editing considered a definite asset
- Proficiency with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design) a definite asset

**Before You Apply**:

- This position may require occasional travel
- Due to the nature of the event, restaurant, and social industries, posting and engagement will be required on weekends and evenings
- Get familiar with our Brand. We’ll want to see that you are very familiar with all that we do and what we're all about. You will be asked to respond to some mock social comments in a way that is relevant to our Brand and voice. We're looking for passion and excitement
