Proform Construction Products is hiring a QA/QC Technician to work at our Red Deer precast manufacturing facility. The QA/QC Technician is responsible for performing daily concrete inspections (pre-pour and post-pour), aggregate and concrete testing, record keeping, and other duties as required to meet specifications and PROFORM’s Quality & Safety Standards.

This is a full time, permanent position, 40+ hours per week, various shift times, occasional overtime. Salary range $25.00 - $33.00/per hour based on experience.

**As a QA/QC Technician, your duties will include**:

- Inspect concrete products for flaws or defects.
- Concrete tests including slump, air, temperature and strength.
- Aggregate sieves and moistures.
- Measure the accuracy of placement & layout of rebar or mesh cages against project Blueprints.
- Calibration of testing equipment to ensure it meets specification.
- Review testing data to ensure products meet industry standards ASTM/CSA/CPCQA.
- Fulfill documentation and reporting requirements for the Quality program.
- Create reports of quality control tests and analyze the data to determine if any changes in the production process are necessary.
- Maintain non-conformance reporting (NCR) system.
- Develop performance improvement targets for quality, service, and efficiency.
- Assist with audits.

**Qualifications**
- Diploma in Materials Testing Technology or 3-year experience in concrete QA/QC activities.
- Self‐motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work in a loud/noisy construction environment.
- Work both inside and outside in all seasons.
- Overtime as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$33.00 per hour
