Lab & Materials Technicians Needed in Grande Prairie

**ParklandGEO is growing and is in need of 2 seasonal lab / field materials technicians for an 3-5 month term, to work out of our Grande Prairie office location, starting immediately.**

**The Opportunity**

You will work closely with an impressive team of engineers and technologists performing monitoring and testing in the field and the lab under the direction of the technical services supervisor.

Responsibilities may include:
Field and Laboratory testing of asphalt, concrete, soil, and aggregate

Construction QC/QA monitoring and testing

Foundation construction

Fill placement and compaction monitoring

Concrete monitoring and testing

Complete detailed field and laboratory reporting

Assist in resolving technical issues out on site

**Qualifications**

Past experience in materials testing would be considered an asset

Past experience in construction setting considered an asset

Great attitude and work ethic

Valid Driver’s License

Ability to work with mínimal supervision and communicate effectively with clients, co-workers, and management team

Ability to work up to 12 hours a day, some weekends and overtime will be required

Available to work out of town on projects

Team orientated with a commitment to safety excellence

**We are offering a $500.00 signing bonus to any applicant selected that is willing to relocate to Grande Prairie for this seasonal position. This bonus will be paid out upon completion of the probationary period.**
