**SHIPPING SUPERVISOR**

Working with the Shipping & Receiving Team, the successful individual is energetic, focused & highly motivated.

In this role you will be responsible for supervising all aspects of the distribution process to ensure effective and efficient operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working with an ERP inventory system
- Following HACCP food safe guidelines
- Coordinate and oversee daily shipping activities to ensure timely delivery of product
- Supervise and lead teams within the Shipping Department
- Review and approve shipping documents including sales orders, purchase orders, load delivery documents etc.
- Implement shipping policies and procedures to improve efficiencies with reducing operational costs
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to the Shipping Department
- Collaborate with other departments such as production, quality control, etc. to ensure there are no shipping related issues to the customer
- Compliance of OHS polices in ensuring the safety of our team members and visitors
- Monitor and ensure inventory/product allocation is manage correctly
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years experience in a shipping or logistics supervisory role
- Forklift and pallet jack equipment experience
- Excellent organizational skills and planning
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve shipping related issues
- Detail oriented, focusing on accuracy of shipments and following up with team members
- Ability to effectively manage a team to ensure operations are completed as efficiently as possible
- Must have strong leadership skills
- Ability to multi-task
