**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to pets while ensuring their comfort and safety. You will interact with pet owners to understand their grooming needs and provide exceptional customer service. This position requires a love for animals, attention to detail, and the ability to handle pets of various sizes and temperaments.

**Duties**
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for a variety of dog breeds.
- Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming treatments to the owner at check in
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ grooming needs and any concerns observed during the grooming process.
- Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Handle pets safely and gently, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
- Assist in heavy lifting of larger pets as needed, ensuring proper techniques are used for safety.
- Working along side other groomers and being a team player

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in dog grooming is required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger animals.
- Knowledge of various dog breeds, including specific grooming requirements for each breed is a plus.
- A compassionate attitude towards animals and a commitment to their well-being.
