Mississauga, Canada McCleary Animal Hospital Full time

Busy animal hospital in south Mississauga is looking for an experienced and certified dog groomer. This is a contract position making 60 percent and offering pet medical and supply discounts. You need to supply your own scissors, clippers and blades. We have clients for you to do your magic on but we invite you to bring your own customers along as well. This position is suited for someone looking to work 2-3 days a week grooming 3-4 dogs per shift ( ranging in size and temperament). Important to note is that we do have a rare few clients that require sedation for grooming, they are monitored throughout the sedation but being comfortable with that aspect is important as well. Although this is a contract position you will still be a part of our team. We will handle the appointment scheduling, cash transactions, lending a hand if needed and even doing the Timmy runs.

If selected for an interview you will be asked to do two grooms and provide references, two of which need to be employer related. We would like to see your portfolio as well.
