**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Checks viscosity, documents mix log, makes sure all lids are secure, puts paint back on shelf in the proper place
- Lays out part(s) on a paint board/tray/cart, verifies quantity, properly cleans and applies primer, top coat, and/or dry lubricants, in line with the job instructions
- Perform inspection and testing as needed to verify part compliance to requirements.
- General housekeeping
- Follows work instruction sheet, then selects and mixes the appropriate paint
- Place sprayed parts in the oven and bakes them at specified temperatures
- Cleans all painting equipment and properly disposes/labels excess paint
- To be able to work overtime and/or Saturdays if necessary.
- Knows how to spray to the desired thickness.
**Qualifications and Skills**

- EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Three months minimum related experience and/or training preferred
- LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read and understand written instruction.
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide simple equations.
- Ability to count and accurately determine quantity.
- REASONING ABILITY:
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and follow simple instruction in standardized situations with little variable.
- Ability to assess current techniques to identify opportunities for improvement and more efficient methodology in performance of job function
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:
- Frequently required to stand and walk,
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color perception.
