Brampton, Canada THE PAINT SHOPPE SERVICES Full time

The paint shoppe paint all kinds of heavy equipment sandblast and dump boxes, and can service from a pickup truck to 390 excavators. We are looking for a dedicated and energetic individual to join our team as a Spray Painter.

**JOB DUTIES**
- Follow production work orders to execute order requirements
- Prepare materials, check paint viscosity and ensure parts have been prepared, masked and cleaned accurately prior to painting
- Using a spray gun or pressure parts, coat surface of parts, assemblies and finished products with protective or decorative materials such as primer, paint and clear coats according to part drawing specifications and engineering documentation
- Complete curing of parts using appropriate baking procedures
- Troubleshoot and correct problems with the equipment/paint booth as they arise
- Maintain spray guns/equipment, ventilation and personal protective equipment
- Follow ISO 9001 and AS 9100 procedures accordingly
- Adhere to top notch safety standards and work practices
- Assist with other shop projects, duties and responsibilities as needed

**REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE**
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate
- 1+ years’ experience using spray painting equipment, mixing paint and cleaning lines
- Experience with painting composites (carbon fiber/fiberglass) preferred
- Experience with cup gun and pressure pot
- Able to complete work with efficiency
- Able to correctly utilize respiratory protection, hearing protection, appropriate gloves and work suits.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Ability to stand for long periods of time, use hands to feel objects, tools, or controls; repeat the same movements, bend or twist, climb ladders and scaffolds, kneel, stoop, or crouch for long periods of time.
