**Title**: Specialist, Primary Care Analytics
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: 8:30am - 4:30pm
**Location**: 701-1166 Alberni St, Vancouver, BC (Remote working is an option in line with FNHA’s homeworking policy - minimum 50% in the office).
**About the role**
As the Specialist, Primary Care Analytics, you will lead and provide analytic support to the Primary Care team within the First Nation Health Benefits and Services Department. The Specialist, reporting to the Director of Analytics and Financial Management, is responsible for collaborating with data leads, developing, designing and implementing analytical products and creating information reports for First Nations participating in the First Nations-Led Primary Health Care Initiative (FNPCI) as well as for FNHAs virtual primary health care services.
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Master’s Degree in economics, statistics or other health related discipline with minimum of two (2) years of progressive experience in developing, designing, and implementing analytical data products.
- Ability to conceptualize larger scale knowledge development initiatives with a specialization in utilization focused approaches;
- Knowledge of primary care health services;
- Hands-on experience with analytical models, methods and techniques, such as regression and time series analysis;
- Experience with business intelligence, data warehouse technologies, with strong SQL skills;
- Knowledge of the BC health care system and experience with BC health administrative data (MSP, PharmaNet, DAD) is an asset;
- Strong working knowledge of data stewardship best practices, including OCAP® and FPIC.
