Merchandising Analyst, Ski Hardgoods

**What You'll Do;**

We’re looking for a Merchandising Analyst to support our Hardgoods Ski Category who lives and breathes the sport. You’ll help ensure our shelves are stocked with the best gear for every type of skier.

Your knowledge of ski equipment, trends, and performance will be key in choosing the right products, keeping our offerings ahead of the game, and making sure our customers are ready to own the slope. You'll play a critical role in collaborating closely with the buyer team to ensure inventory productivity and support category initiatives.

**Inventory & Allocation Management**
- Manage inventory levels to ensure the right products reach the right stores in the right quantities.
- Balance inventory needs for promotions, seasonal requirements, and replenishment of core SKUs.
- Work with stores and vendors to track shipments, resolve issues, and maintain in-stock levels.

**Data & Systems Management**
- Accurately input product information and maintain item data across multiple systems.
- Maintain and track purchase orders, including creation, updates, closures, and cancellations.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly checklist reviews to ensure inventory accuracy.

**Analysis & Reporting**
- Build and analyze reports for size curve planning, sales, margins, and inventory performance.
- Forecast inventory needs through SKU- and store-level analysis and support open-to-buy decisions.
- Create door-level merchandise assortment reports to identify opportunities and optimize inventory placement.

**Collaboration & Communication**
- Partner with Store Operations to communicate updates and resolve any issues promptly.
- Support the Buyer in category initiatives, system administration, and ad hoc requests.
- Work with vendors to manage inventory availability, procurement, and marketing materials like images and copy.

**What You'll Bring;**
- A passion for Skiing
- Post-secondary education (University preferred) with a focus on retail, marketing or finance
- Experience in retail planning, buying or merchandising with knowledge of retail inventory management, merchandising concepts and operations
- Experience in data entry and data management, performing duties with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to process information/merchandise through systems and order entry systems
- Be customer centric; listening, understanding and responding to customer needs while being committed to the customer first philosophy; this applies to both internal and external customers
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and easily adapt to current business trends; ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
