Position Overview

As a Housekeeping Attendant at Cabot Cape Breton, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests comfort and satisfaction during their stay. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, contributing to the overall guest experience, and upholding Cabot Cape Breton’s high standards of cleanliness and service.

**Qualifications**
Preferred qualifications and skills:

- Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Information System (WHIMIS)
- Previous housekeeping experience is an asset
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Requirements of the role you should be aware of:

- Based on the nature of our business and the service we provide to our guests, to work with us, you must consent to a criminal background check as a condition of employment and an additional criminal background check every two years.
- As a seasonal resort business, you can anticipate a schedule that will involve day, evening, night, and weekend work.
- Long hours moving around, walking, sitting, standing, and crouching while performing other duties is to be expected
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and otherwise exerting up to 50 pounds of force
- Ability to ascend or descent, stairs and ramps on an occasional basis
- Ability to work with and around chemicals, and registered products and safely follow product labels
