**Position**: MJAC Administrator
**Purpose**: The Administrator supports and facilitates the ministries of the church by serving as a welcoming presence in the office and managing the day to day administrative functions of the church.
**Qualifications**
- Actively supports the mission and vision of Moose Jaw Alliance Church
- Has a personal commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an office environment preferred
- Office Education diploma preferred
- Ability to creatively design print material using Canva or other graphic design software
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete numerous projects and tasks without supervision
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Works well within a team environment possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, courtesy, discretion and good public relations
**Responsibilities**:
**Reception**
- Serves as the welcoming face of the organization by providing reception services for the church, Connect Pre-K and The Hub
**Administration**
- Provides confidential, accurate and efficient administrative and organizational services for the staff and ministry teams as required
- Maintains the membership database and guest information in the church
- Coordinates the church statistics to local and national ministry centers and government agencies as required (Professions of Faith, Baptisms, etc.)
- Orders supplies and arranges for repairs and maintenance of office equipment
- Assists with identifying equipment needs, researches and recommends equipment for purchase or lease as needed
- Liaises with salespersons and service technicians as required
- Distributes and maintains a log of all church keys
- Maintains an asset tracking log of all office-related technology (iPads, Computers, etc.)
**Communication**
- Manages and updates the church’s website and social media presence
- Produces weekly communique and promotional materials in consultation with the church ministries (Weekly Memo)
- Prepares, publishes and assists in distributing letters, mail merges, reports, calendars, phone directories, forms, notices and other miscellaneous items and advertising upon request
- Maintains bulletin boards
**Financial**
- Assists the bookkeeper with weekly donations deposits, records donations in the church database and issues annual charitable receipts
- Coordinates the submission of expenses of ministry leaders for payment or reimbursement
- Collects deposits and tacks registration fees and tuition for Connect Pre-K. Issues tax receipts
**The Hub**
- Manages rental inquiries by discussing rates, rental agreement terms and availability with potential renters
- Coordinates the rental schedule, ensuring appropriate coverage for short-term rental events and communication of custodial services
- Issues invoices and tracks payments for all renters
- Discuss rental rates with the Lead Pastor for each coming year
**Other**
- Participates as a full member of the ministry team in all staff meetings
- Other tasks assigned by the Lead Pastor

- Volunteer Ministry Leads
**Reports to**: Lead Pastor
**Work Hours**
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week
**Salary**: $18.00 per hour
