Reporting to the Accounting Manager, The Accounting Assistant will assist the Finance Department to meet its goals and objectives. You will be a key contributor to the organization success. In this role you will be overseeing all aspects of the billing process - 50% of the time and Assisting in the month end process - 50% of the time

**Duties**:
Printing timesheets and matching with approved service reports from dashboard so an SO# can be assigned

Billing Krones Inc. in SAP for all relevant service work performed by service technicians

Requesting PO’s from Krones AG for REK work and subsequently billing Krones AG for this REK work performed by service technicians with accompanying full backup

Monitoring Concur and following up on outstanding concur reports from technicians

Reviewing and approving concur reports according to company policy and matching them to billings

Entering in SAP technician service hours as billed to Krones Inc. or Krones AG for every billing

Monthly - Compiling and entering office hours into SAP

Monthly - gross margin analysis by Sales Order, inputs from Accounting Manager

Semi-annually and Annually - Out of province schedule for Service

Monthly - Prepaid journal entries and schedules, creation and posting of Journal Entries in SAP

Monthly - Computation and preparation of HST filings, creation and posting of Journal Entry in SAP

Monthly - Creation of G/L account reconciliation schedule, review and comment

Accounts payable - monthly tracking and follow up for invoices, coding and submission

Project EFT - coordination with vendors, devise, organize and update contact sheet

Ongoing efficiency recommendations and implementation
- additional projects as assigned

**Education & Experience**:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

2 + years of accounting experience, billing an asset

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel

SAP experience definite asset

Some experience as a Payroll Assistant.

Familiarity with payroll schedules and software, an asset.

**Soft skills**:
Ability to quickly develop understanding of the process and follow instructions

Ability to multitask and gather data from different sources and individuals

Time management and ability to meet deadlines

Attention to detail

Personable and general social skills needed

Communication skills above par, teamwork is essential

Adherence to all prescribed ethical guidelines, including confidentiality.

Strong sense of integrity

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $52,000.00-$56,000.00 per year
