Collicutt Energy Services Corp, a leader in the power generation and natural gas industry, is currently seeking an

Construction Manager to join our Collicutt team in the Red Deer Head Office. We are looking for someone who is ready

**Primary Job Functions**:

- Participate in machinery installation, repair and maintenance
- Supervise, monitor, and inspect mechanical and electrical installation in power generation projects including

heavy duty mechanics, millwrights, electricians, welders and others
- Manage subcontractor’s work
- Prepare, schedule and control daily construction activities
- Interpret design construction drawings and technical documents
- Coordinate with engineers to keep drawings up to date during construction
- Participate in field activities like commissioning, startups, repairs
- Participate in project meetings including design and schedule reviews and others
- Analyze blueprints, drawings, and other documents to prepare time, cost, material and labor estimates
- Ensure that projects activities are consistent with the project objectives and that objectives can be met with

available resources
- Work closely with inspectors, third party contractors
- Prepare timely project construction status reports
- Maintain updated all project documentation related to construction
- Assist with the inspection of mechanical and electrical installations
- Carry out mechanical, electrical and load tests and analysis of final projects assemblies and components
- Assist in preparing and/or interpreting design, drawings and specifications
- All other duties as required

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**:

- Experience preparing construction estimates
- Must be able to read specifications, schematics, P&IDs. Isometric and Mechanical equipment drawings and other

related details that describe the scope of supply
- Experience in similar type of work for a power generation packager is a must

**Required Competencies**:

- Highly skilled in shop work planning, scheduling, measuring, and monitoring of resources
- Strong organizational capabilities to ensure successful project construction stage by effectively managing

multiple employees, tasks and timelines
- Ability to read, write and communicate in a professional manner
- Strong aptitude for details
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and multi-task concurrently
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, maintain effective working relationships with contacted in

the course of work, both externally and internally, including all levels of management
- Effective and professional communication skills, which will allow the clients specifications to be properly

communicated to both internally and externally
- Ability to interact positively and provide solid leadership
- Superior customer service skills, with an uncanny ability to problem solve
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team and lead by examples, as well as independently
- Clean and valid driver's license and ability to travel
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical/physical testing as well as provide a clean criminal record check
