We are looking for Executive Assistants who can start ASAP under our Administrative roster at UBC Hiring Solutions.

We have short term Executive Assistant opportunities available and we encourage all qualified and interested applicants to apply. The length of each term varies from approximately one month to two months. Upon completing the initial Executive Assistant assignment, any following assignments may pertain to any Administrative function within UBC and will not necessarily fall under Executive Assistant role. Please note that the roles will be filled as soon as suitable applicants have been found. The average pay range is between $22.03 - $27.00 per hour (depending on the position you are placed into).

The positions will perform a stewardship role for the overall functioning and working environment of the office, to ensure goals and objectives are met. The roles will focus strongly on calendar management as well as project-based work.

Required qualifications:

- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of three years executive assistance experience working at a senior executive level in a large and complex organization.
- Demonstrated experience in senior-level administrative tasks, including calendar management, minute-taking, project coordination, analyzing data and reporting.
- Knowledge of policies, procedures, governance and administrative systems in a higher education setting preferred.
- Demonstrated ability and experience to work effectively with representatives from both the public and private sectors.
- Strong organization skills; ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to exercise judgment, tact, discretion and diplomacy.
- Willingness to respect diverse perspectives, including perspectives in conflict with one’s own.
- Demonstrates a commitment to enhancing one’s own awareness, knowledge, and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

**Salary**: $22.03-$27.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- executive assistance: 3 years (required)
