**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Cabinetry Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for receiving design concepts and translating these into accurate and detailed budget proposals using our software tools.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Project Analysis:

- Review architectural plans, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements. Provide direct feedback to designers or Swede Advisors to help coach and support successful project outcomes and hit client expectations.

Cost Estimation:

- Prepare detailed and accurate millwork product lists using our estimation software to generate pricing.
- Utilize our pricing software to generate countertop and product quotes.

Budget Proposal Preparation:

- Using our Canva templates, build clear and accurate budget proposals that are engaging and accurate.
- Work with the sales team to adjust messaging and content relative to the project needs.

Vendor and Millwork Manufacturer Coordination:

- Obtain quotes and negotiate pricing with vendors and manufacturers.
- Evaluate vendor and manufacturer proposals for quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with project requirements.

Risk Assessment:

- Identify potential risks and challenges associated with proposed design concepts and develop strategies to mitigate and reduce pricing when needed.
- Monitor and manage project scope, budget changes and adjust estimated pricing accordingly.

Client Communication:

- Communicate effectively with clients to clarify project requirements, address concerns, and provide updates on cost estimates and bids.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with designers, vendors, and manufacturers.

Continuous Improvement:

- Stay updated on our evolving software stack, materials, and technologies to improve the accuracy and efficiency of estimating processes.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the custom millwork industry, specifically within a role where you have been developing millwork product lists and client-facing estimates.
- Proficiency in Sketchup
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and accuracy.
