The DKI Operations team is responsible for providing value services to the membership and measuring, leading and guiding our members in Performance and Operational excellence. DKI has an outstanding reputation for providing excellent services to its customers and members and the Remote Estimator, is an integral position in delivering this value.

**Position Title**:Remote Estimator

**Location**:Remote Based

**Reporting To: Manager of Operations**

**Role **Summary**:
Estimator for the Remote Estimating Desk (RED), Shared Services Department.

**Responsibilities**:
Virtually build property damage and restoration estimates electronically with specific attention to:
Quality assurance to align with the protocols of insurance carrier partners

Timeliness of estimate return

Value added through identifying and utilizing appropriate estimating techniques

Communication with member to provide training as a value-added feature of RED

Coordination and distribution of files to other RED estimators throughout the network as required

**Education, Knowledge and Experience required**:
Minimum 5 years direct work experience in property restoration.

Computer skills required

College Diploma, or an acceptable combination of experience and progressively responsible experience.

Strong communication skills

**Competencies required to succeed**:
Proficient in Xactimate, Xactanalysis and Symbility estimating software skills.

Ability to effectively work remotely and as a team.

Ability to work flexible hours as required.

Strong knowledge of the Canadian Restoration Industry.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
