**Packaging Worker/Driver**

**Position Overview**:Permanent, full-time Monday - Friday

**Hours of Work**:Day shift, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm when working in the warehouse/production facility; variable hours on days when deliveries are scheduled.

**Job Duties (include and are not limited to)**:

- Perform general physical labour tasks including unboxing, prepping, and packaging of products.
- Support product production and assist with warehouse and maintenance tasks.
- Drive company vehicle to complete same-day pick-ups and deliveries to clients, vendors, or other locations as needed. No special license required; a valid G driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential.
- Utilize a variety of shop equipment and hardware, including hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, levels).
- Load, unload, and move materials, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, including housekeeping tasks.
- Track inventory and assist with stock management.
- Follow all company and safety procedures during driving and warehouse tasks.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Working experience in Packaging role
- Valid G license with clean driving abstract
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of metric and imperial measurements and strong math skills
- Experience tracking inventory
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting; occasional heavy lifting is required.
- Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Good mathematical skills.
- Ability to weigh and measure items.
- Working knowledge of safe lifting methods.
- Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work, including housekeeping.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
