**Job Description**:
Position Description

The successful applicant must hold a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline, by the time of the appointment. The applicant must possess excellent communication skills and a strong commitment and demonstrated ability in classroom instruction. Experience teaching courses in biomedical engineering and health sciences (including cellular biology) is desirable. The successful applicant will be expected to teach undergraduate level courses in the program and contribute to planning for an upcoming accreditation by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB). Evidence of leadership skills, excellence in service, and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures is a necessary requirement for this position.
