**Job Description**:
1. Accountable for day-to-day operations and decision making for a center serving approximately 90 children.

2. Accountable for overseeing approximately 20 staff, and for the successful delivery of a high-quality early learning programming for children, while implementing the vision and principles of Play and Exploration such as: Early Learning Program Guide and the JUS Philosophy.

3. Responsible for ensuring all YMCA Playing to Learn program requirements are met while complying with the Ministry of Education Regulations and National YMCA Child Protection Standards.

4. Supports the professional development of employees and requires expertise, experience and skill with early learning principles and adult learning, in order to provide leadership and ensure positive outcomes for children.

Job Requirements:
1. Early Childhood Education Level III Certification.

2. Minimum 3-5 years childcare experience and managing a team.

3. Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills.

4. Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check prior to first day of work and dated no more than 3 months before hire date.

5. Current Standard First Aid, CPR

6. Play and Exploration Training is considered an asset but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
