**Belvika Trade & Packaging Ltd.** is a leading one-stop contract packaging company, specializing in precision packing of dry foods, chocolate and confectionary products from multiple facilities totaling more than 500,000 ft2. A 30-year-old and 100% owned Canadian Company, Belvika has grown to be one of the largest co-packers of chocolate, confectionary and snack products in Canada. Belvika uses its extensive experience in managing both manual processes and automated equipment to handle primary and secondary packaging of products for some of the world’s best known confectionary brands.

Belvika is currently seeking an **Inventory/Shipping Coordinator** **to assist the production team. The role is on a day shift and will be located at the Goreway facility located in Mississauga.

**Inventory coordination (30%)**
- Ensure inventory record accuracy by performing specific inventory counts;
- Perform daily cycle counts, track and report metrics;
- Research and correct problems related to inaccurate inventory shipments or levels;
- Identify discrepancies in the inventory records and conduct analysis to determine cause of count error;
- Change and assess the packaging inventory status when requested by the Planning Manager/Customer due to urgent order/demand;

**Shipping coordination (70%)**
- Receive daily supplier delivery receipts;
- Process return shipments of non-conforming materials back to suppliers;
- Coordinate & report weekly / monthly inventory levels of consumable materials;
- Verify count and condition of materials as per receipt notes of receiving team;
- Co-ordinate with production team to track and post daily production in SAP on real time basis;
- Produce and supply line-leads with LPN labels;
- Advise the shipping team on customer specific shipments; assigning the work to the respective shipper/receiver on a priority basis;
- Prepare shipments using production declaration forms;
- Plan and organize daily shipping coordinator work schedules and procedures to in order to handle the issues and solve them in most effective manner;
- Prepare bill of lading, packing slips, and commercial invoices for shipments;
- Direct carriers and drivers signing in and out;
- Pursue continuous improvement initiatives and progressive SAP training to drive increased productivity and service levels;
- Prioritize daily tasks in an effective manner to positively impact all other departments;
- Fix and resolve SAP related issues; over postings, receiving and shipping errors, report inventory discrepancies;
- Post inventory receiving bulk in respective client’s SAP;
- Other duties as assigned by Management.

**Education/Work experience requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Business, Purchasing or Related Courses an asset);
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Inventory and Accounting (food processing or food packaging environment preferred)
- Experience using SAP, or any ERP & MRP systems to track inventory
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials movement preferred
- Forklift certification an asset
