**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for a full time **Personal Lines Underwriter and Processor** who is eager to join a growing team.
The incumbent will have a knack for details with high-level proficiency organizing and completing assigned tasks and keeping the office functioning smoothly daily.
**A Day in the Life**:
- Underwriting and authorizing the acceptance of new personal lines risk submissions.
- Providing excellent underwriting analysis by assessing the acceptability of risks.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of work processes by actively participating in team meetings and problem-solving sessions.
- Liaising with internal staff in various departments and locations.
- Preparing, compiling, and sorting documents for data entry.
- Reviewing data for accuracy and completeness.
- Entering data into carrier portals with high efficiency.
- Performing data entry tasks in accordance with service level agreements and client demands.
- Any other duties as required for the successful operation of the team.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong data entry and typing proficiency.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Expert knowledge of insurance carrier portals and manuals.
**Education & Experience**:
- One year's experience with clerical duties.
- Insurance experience would be an asset.
- No experience necessary, willing to train the right fit.
