Surgical Processor

**Description**:
Surgical processors are responsible for the provision of safe surgical equipment. They will collect, disassemble, decontaminate, disinfect, assemble, function test, package, sterilize, store and distribute instruments, equipment and supplies used in surgical units. Surgical processors are responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of equipment used to process surgical instruments. They will assemble and provide surgical supply sets and carts as ordered for scheduled surgeries. Surgical processors inventory, monitor, order, replenish and rotate supplies in their work environment.
Surgical processors will work alongside other surgical processors, physicians, nurses and other health care workers to provide the best care to patients.
**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of an accredited Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) program. Completion of International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM) certification or Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certification.
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 32 per week
