**Summary Description**:
Responsible to prepare, compute, manage, research, analyze accounting data to provide management with company financial information relating to performance, financial position, solvency, and cash flow.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage accounting operations based on accounting principles
- Establish and maintain accounting policies and practices
- Prepare an annual budget, summarize the financial status and prepare financial forecasts
- Conduct monthly and annual closeout processes
- Audit financial transactions, and prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by collecting information and entering in the accounting system
- Secure financial information by completing database backups
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and legal requirements including existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence, and advising of needed actions
- Preserve company confidence and ensure all financial information is confidential
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with accepted accounting practices

**Education / Training**:

- Chartered Professional Accountant Designation
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Business Administration

**Related Experience**:

- Five years’ experience post designation
- Management experience in related field

**Skills / Knowledge**:

- Excellent computer skills including MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel
- Excellence with accounting programs and software (QuickBooks and other)
- Thorough knowledge of principles of finance, bookkeeping and accounting
- Data entry skills and accuracy
- Competent math skills and concepts

**Capabilities**:

**Work Conditions**:
