Visitor Experience Ambassador

This individual will help operate the Nature Shop by providing information about products to visitors, maintaining stock and displays, as well as processing all sales transactions. This job will require availability for evenings and weekends primarily, and week days during the Summer, depending on operational needs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Actively promote and sell FortWhyte Alive offerings and services including but not limited to memberships, donations, programs, and merchandise
- Maintain knowledge of all marketing promotions, initiatives and special events
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle visitor inquiries, complaints and how to direct them as necessary
- Deliver sales and outstanding customer service
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products offered
- Work with Retail Supervisor to tidy, organize and maintain store displays

**Please note: this position requires the handling of peanuts and peanut products
