Service Dispatcher

Reports to: Service Manager

**Job Overview**:
This is a one-year term position

The Dispatcher will play a key role in administratively support for both the service department through various administrative responsibilities including, but not limited to service calls and follow ups, payroll support, completing purchase orders, filings, and dispatch of service calls, etc.

**Responsibilities: (as directed by the Service Manager)**
- Enter new service work orders and maintenance contracts into the computerized system (Jonas)
- Enter purchase orders in Jonas for technicians as required
- Tracking and recording the completion of service and maintenance calls and completed paperwork

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a mechanical service administrative role
- Ability to multi task in a busy office
- Attention to detail, outgoing, organized, customer service oriented
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a diverse team environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with service-related computer system
- Ability to prioritize workload

**Core Competencies**:
Teamwork, accountability to dispatch a team and keep them organized, commitment to team communication, ability to make decisions, and assist the team to make informed decisions about work locations and next jobs to attend to. The person that holds this position must be conscientious of providing excellent customer service both internally and externally.

Must be able to bring things forward in a timely manner for the Service Manager to resolve the issue.
