**Learner Experience Coordinator**:
**Primary Purpose**: The Learner Experience Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) program by ensuring learners have access to high-quality support and resources throughout their academic journey. This position will focus on learner services and fostering meaningful collaborations with key partners to promote both the personal well-being and academic success of learners. Through strategic relationship-building, operational support, and a focus on learner-centered service, this role ensures a positive experience from classroom to clinical settings.

**Nature of Work**: Reporting to the MPAS Program Manager, the Learner Experience Coordinator operates in a dynamic and evolving environment with competing priorities. The role demands discretion, professionalism, and sensitivity to confidentiality, particularly when addressing personal learner challenges. Tasks will require multitasking, adaptability, and effective problem-solving. The coordinator must manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, balancing academic and non-academic responsibilities to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

A key responsibility of this position is to submit quarterly reports to MPAS Academic Director summarizing trends, challenges, and opportunities identified in the learner services portfolio. These reports must maintain strict confidentiality and exclude any identifying information to support the development of responsive and proactive initiatives that align with learner needs.

**Typical Duties or Accountabilities**:
**Learner Services Coordination**
- Provide guidance and access to non-academic supports, including wellness resources, mentorship opportunities, and accommodations planning through Access and Equity Services (AES) in collaboration with the College of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (CGPS).
- Develop and support initiatives to promote wellbeing, and resilience through workshops and outreach activities.
- Plan and deliver student-focused events, including orientation, and professional development sessions.
- Assist learners with navigating university systems and policies related to personal and professional challenges.
- Act as a resource for learners transitioning into clinical practice by connecting them with appropriate supports and resources.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available resources and tools to effectively assist learners.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and supportive learner experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the learner services portfolio.

**Community Liaison and Collaboration**
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with organizations such as Canadian Association of Physician Assistant Studies (CAPA), Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), Emmanuel Health/St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation (SPH), and clinical placement affiliates.
- Establish and maintain a strong liaison with USask Central Student Support units and the College of Medicine’s Office of Student Affairs (OSA) to ensure coordinated and comprehensive support for learners.
- Support the Curriculum team in developing collaborative initiatives that enhance interprofessional education (IPE) and ensure seamless learning experiences for learners.

**Clinical Placement Coordination**
- Coordinate clinical placements for learners within designated MPAS clinical hubs, building and maintaining strong relationships with preceptors, SHA, and clinical sites.
- Manage placement schedules, contracts, and compliance requirements to ensure alignment with program objectives and hub-specific expectations.
- Assist learners in preparing for clinical placements by providing clear guidance on expectations, policies, and hub-specific requirements.
- Track and report clinical placement data, identifying trends or challenges across hubs to inform program improvements.
- Collaborate with faculty and external stakeholders to address placement challenges and enhance learner preparedness within the hub.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the MPAS program.

**Education**:Post-secondary education in a relevant field as it pertains to this position is required. An undergraduate degree is strongly desired - a combination of education and applicable experience may be considered.

**Experience**:A minimum of three years relevant experience in administration support is required. Knowledge of University of Saskatchewan programs would be considered a strong asset. Working knowledge of SharePoint, experience with program management, and/or graduate program administration are also considered strong assets.
