We are currently recruiting for full-time **Processing Associates **at our** Ancaster, Ontario** facility. Previous landscaping, outdoor labour, or greenhouse experience preferred. Applicants must be mandatory minimum age to work with cannabis in Canada (19 years old +)

**Work Schedule**:40 hours per week | Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

**Rate**:CAD $18.64/hour

The Processing Associate is responsible for harvesting mature cannabis plants, and prepating flower for processing. Day-to-day tasks include plucking, trimming, hanging, and drying of cannabis, as well as the sanitation of tools, equipment, and grow rooms.

**Responsibilities**:

- Harvest and pre-/post-processing of cannabis flower
- Manually feeding cannabis into a bucking and de-stemming machine
- Operating an automated trimming machine
- Quick and efficient manual trimming of cannabis plants
- Executing pest management protocols as directed by QAP
- Maintaining all sanitation protocols
- Keeping daily records for accuracy and compliance with Health Canada standards
- Transporting pre
- and post-processed cannabis between production environments
- Following all related SOPs and procedures to GMP standards
- Completing all required documentation using good documentation practices
- Communicating and troubleshooting day-to-day issues
- Minimum 2 years prior experience as a grower or a similar processing role in a manufacturing environment
- Prior experience working with plants or in a greenhouse environment is considered an assetThis position is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift/move heavy objects (up to 50lbs)

**Working Conditions**:

- This is a greenhouse and manufacturing working environment, which may have continuous exposure to heat, light and humidity, extreme variation of temperature throughout different areas and departments of the facility
- High decibel output from the automated trimming machines, must be able to wear all designated PPE including over the ear hearing protection for long periods of time.Must have access to personal means of transportation - this location is not accessible by public transportation
