In the role of Communications & Public Relations Manager, you will lead and contribute to Ekona’s external messaging through web site, social media, conference and public relations channels.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Work with external consultants, as required, to manage and develop Ekona’s public relations and communications strategy.
- Manage Ekona’s web site and content creation, which will include collaboration with Ekona’s technical, program and business development teams, as well as contractors when needed
- Build marketing materials for Ekona’s external communications, which may include presentations, brochures and white papers, as well as journal articles from time to time in targeted trade publications.
- Coordinate Ekona’s media engagement and delivery
- Execute and manage press releases for the company
- Oversee Ekona’s social media platforms
- Manage Ekona’s participation at conferences, which will include selecting events that meet Ekona’s strategic objectives, registering, arranging stakeholder meetings and attending conferences, as required.

**You Bring**:

- 5+ years of experience in related discipline, such as Communications, Marketing, Public Relations
- Strong communication abilities both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-pace, fluid environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in web site and social media design.
- Familiarity with press release procedures and guidelines.
- Proficiency in all office communication formats including MS Office products.
