**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Develop and run individualized lessons for each student.
- Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to develop customized learning plans.
- Develop learning materials.
- Teach students using the Orton-Gilllingham approach
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Communicate progress with students, parents, and educational staff regularly.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed.
**Experience**
- Previous experience as a Literacy Tutor is preferred.
- Experience working with children, particularly those requiring special education support, is highly desirable.
- Experience using the Orton-Gillingham approach with students is required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with students of varying ages and backgrounds.

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 4 per week

- teaching: 2 years (required)
- Orton-Gillingham: 2 years (required)
