**About the Role**:
Leslie Trucking is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Logistics Assistant** to support our operations team. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods, accurate documentation, and timely communication with carriers and customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and manage deliveries and pick-ups
- Coordinate local dispatch
- Communicate with and track completed deliveries from local and long-distance drivers
- Maintain records of pick-ups, bills of lading, and delivery confirmations
- Collaborate with warehouse teams and other related departments
- Coordinate inbound and outbound loads
- Review drivers' folders
- Prepare invoices and issue purchase orders
- Maintain repair and maintenance records

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in logistics, dispatch, or shipping/receiving is an asset
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
