Assumption Life is seeking a qualified individual as Chief IT Planning, Partnership and Contracts within the Information Technology department who will report directly to the Vice President of IT.
This person ensures that the best IT investments and external IT relationships are made and aligned with key business objectives.
Ensures the right IT projects are launched at the right time and are set up for success.

What you'll do

**Responsibilities**:
**Your main responsibilities**:

- Operate the portfolio management process to facilitate assessment and approval of individual IT investments and adjustments to active investments throughout the year
- Development and support of external partnership relationships and agreements
- Development, evolution, and maintenance of the IT Strategic Plan
- Facilitate development, approval, and changes of a portfolio plan of record used to guide active IT investment priorities and sequencing

What you'll need

**Qualifications**:
**Your qualifications and skills**:

- Degree in computer science, engineering or information systems, or a minimum of 10 years experience in the IT industry
- Any IT management certification (e.g., ITIL or Lean IT certification) or relevant work experience will be considered an asset
- Any project management training or certification (e.g., PMP certification or customer service management training), or relevant work experience will be considered an asset
- Negotiation experience.
- General knowledge of infrastructure and ability to bridge the gap between business and technology
- Bilingual - French and English - both verbal and written
