Kennedy Ford is looking for an enthusiastic Shipper/Receiver to join our award-winning team. The core duties of the Shipper/Receiver is inventory control, recording inventory, and overseeing the loading and unloading of both inbound and outbound shipments. Some driving will be required. **Responsibilities**: Coordinate the daily function of the parts operations including; receiving and stocking of shelves, processing back orders, preparing orders for shipments and picking of parts. Ensure parts are quickly received and expedited to appropriate Parts Advisor. Maintain an accurate delivery log while complying with delivery strategies and tracking procedures. Provide backup for Parts Advisors. Other duties as required by management. Assist with housekeeping of parts department, stockroom maintenance and replenishment of stock parts. Maintain accurate inventory and perform cycle counts. General maintenance of the stockroom. Local pick-ups and deliveries. Label parts with proper parts number prior to binning and place in storage. Monitor part number changes and modify location if necessary. Identify and process special order shipments and notify appropriate person or department. **Qualifications**: Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with various groups. A willingness to learn with the ability to work with mínimal supervision and adapt in a fast paced environment. A clean drivers abstract and valid class "G" drivers license. Effective communication skills and attention to detail. Must have the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Must have the ability to lift/carry 25kg on their own.
