**Status**: App D contract, 5months
**Hours**:37.5 hours per week
**Faculty/Department**: Student Success and Engagement
**Campus/Location**:North Campus
**Salary**:FT Support Payband I (Start $39.34 - Max $45.59)
**About the Student Success and Engagement Department at Humber**:
The Department of Student Success & Engagement (SSE) supports students’ active participation in experiential initiatives, promotes student health, wellness and inclusivity, and offers a variety of educational and career-related support services to help current Humber students, recent graduates and newcomers to Canada achieve their academic and personal goals. SSE also supports our local communities by providing opportunities to build capacity and share resources.
SSE is comprised of Athletics and Recreation, Student Events, Student Wellness and Equity, and Transition and Academic Support.

**Education**
- 3 year diploma / degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Disability Studies, Psychology, Social Work or other related field.
**Experience/Skills**
- Demonstrated understanding of the Ontario Human Rights Code, the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
- Advanced knowledge of software packages and electronic health record systems (e.g., Clockwork, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, Banner and Destiny One).
- Demonstrated effectiveness in collaborating with stakeholders on interventions as they relate to learning, academic, and transition success.
- Strong relationship building skills with proven ability to establish and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and make accurate referrals.
- Ability to work cooperatively and independently within an interdisciplinary team, complemented by the ability to exercise independent judgement and ethical decision-making with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrated project management skills (e.g., time management and planning) with experience managing multiple projects within a budget.
- Possess tact, diplomacy, and the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and sensitive information.
- Ability to balance interruptions, multiple and varied tasks, and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with strong customer service/conflict resolution skills and ability to communicate effectively with learners, faculty and staff.
- Demonstrated understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion to meet the needs of diverse learners, staff and college community.
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret assessment and benchmarking data to inform practice.
