**Position**
Within the Firm Capital Organization, Firm Capital Property Management Corp. is the property manager for a portfolio of multi-residential and commercial properties comprised of retail, industrial, and office across Canada. Firm Capital Property Management Corp. is looking for a _**Manager, National Leasing.**_ This position is responsible for preparing and negotiating retail, industrial, and office leasing contracts with tenants.
**What you need to succeed**
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial, industrial, retail, and office sales or leasing experience;
- Clear evidence of good judgement, reasoning ability, problem solving skills, attention to detail, and strategic thinking capabilities;
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize activities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment;
- Ability to think and work proactively, anticipating the needs of both senior management and the Board of Directors;
- Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Ability to work with real estate brokers, issue and negotiate listing agreements;
- Knowledge of Market Rents within Toronto, Waterloo, and Edmonton retail, industrial, and office markets;
- Experience drafting lease clauses, amendments, renewals, and assignments;
- Excellent customer service, negotiation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; and
- Must be fluent in English (written and oral).
**Your new role**
- Handle all lease negotiations and document preparation, including new leasing and renewals as required;
- Be responsible for leasing space including developing marketing plans, conducting tenant tours, preparation of offers and negotiating all aspects of lease documents;
- Develop, build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective tenants and related representatives in all commercial sectors of the market;
- Assist in the positioning of assets with a focus on revenue growth;
- Oversee the deal process from offer to closing;
- Understand to be familiar with the competing properties and developments;
- Attend external industry events and conventions;
- Maintain accurate and organized records of leasing transactions;
- Create annual budget revenue projects and provide the revenue reforecasts as required and on a timely basis;
- Attend meetings in person with senior management and the Board of Directors’ as needed;
- Assist with and respond to queries from senior management; and
- Perform other duties as assigned.
