Prestige Dental Clinic is currently looking to hire a friendly and energetic Dental Assistant for our dental clinic to join our busy and well established practice on a full-time basis. WE OFFER AND PAY THE TRAINING

As a dental assistant, you’ll have the opportunity to work and learn from a team of strong dental professionals.

We are located at _48 rue Principale, Gatineau (Québec)_

**What we Offer_: _**

Salary offered: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour depending on experience
- We offer a competitive wage and pay according to experience and performance._

Number of hours per week : 38,00-40,00

Job status : Full-Time permanent (day, evening) opportunity for overtime

**Requirements**:
**Language**:

- Bilingual( French and English ideally). OTHER LANGUAGES ARE AN ASSET

**Responsibilities**:
Performs all phases of a dental assistant duties:

- Greet and assist patients courteously and professionally as they arrive and leave.
- Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
- Provides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests.
- Provides materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments and in the patient's mouth.
- Maintains dental supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
- Passing instruments and materials.
- Maintain and organize an accurate and up-to-date patient records (patient records and charts).
- Check on insurance benefits and eligibility and explain policies and processes to patients when needed.
