Compensation is base salary. We also offer paid vacation time, sick/personal days and fully paid benefits after 3 months’ probation (Life, Accidental Death & Disability, Short and Long-Term Disability, Extended Health, Dental, Employee Assistance Program and RRSP Program with company matching your contributions, up to 3% of your salary).

**Check Out The Role**

The Liaison will be responsible for a wide variety of functions critical to the continued success and effectiveness of purchasing for the business.
- Maintain accuracy of stock code information within an ERP system, including lead-time, current purchase order data, etc.
- Handle correspondence concerning over-shipments, delivery shortages, changes in quantity, delivery dates, and report such changes to the Materials Manager and the larger Operations team in a timely manner, as required
- Continuously review ERP system to ensure accuracy and that data consistently meets the requirements of the business
- Issue requests for confirmation of purchase order readiness and follow up on delays with the buyer and the vendor.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with the company suppliers in accordance with the ethical code and standards of conduct maintaining the highest standard of professionalism
- Act as a liaison between suppliers and purchasing and logistics departments to resolve procurement and logístical related problems
- Interface with our QA team with regard to supplier non-conformances where it effects delivery of products

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years’ experience in expediting/supply chain and New Product Introduction support
- Experience managing off-shore vendors is an asset
- Strong problem-solving skills and work ethic
- ERP knowledge is required
- Capable of analyzing information from multiple data sources to assist in the performance of the position
- Familiar with scheduling principle/practices
- Proficient in Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, to work well under pressure and to handle multiple tasks
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- PMAC or APICS certification is desirable
