**Work Schedule**: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. First three months of training in office with a 3-day in-office hybrid schedule after.
**In this role, you will**:
- Implement a detailed supply plan driven by sales forecasts to maximize customer service and minimize costs.
- Analyze and develop supply plans at the machine level, using TOC and EBQ, to optimize inventory cost, capacity utilization, and linearity.
- Collaborate with analysts to build business intelligence for measuring and analyzing plan performance, process efficiency, and machine performance, and propose improvement proposals.
- Ensure stability in the MRP system through effective Demand and Inventory Planning.
- Provide valuable assistance to operational managers in cost-effective shop floor labor allocation.
- Facilitate regular Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) Supply cadence meetings for dynamic feedback and alignment with RCCP.
- Respond promptly to major unexpected stock-outs or forecast changes, considering input from various departments, and propose viable options with a cost-oriented mindset for accommodating business requirements.
**You have**:
- Experience in Access, Excel, and Syspro system proficiency, with strong quantitative analysis skills.
- Strong problem-solving, math, negotiation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- 3+ years of related work experience in batch process manufacturing.
- Extensive knowledge of production planning, purchasing, capacity planning, and machine scheduling with a strategic view.
- Self-starter with a detail-oriented approach, able to thrive in a team-oriented environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Proven track record of identifying and implementing creative cost-saving solutions and improving existing supply chain systems and processes.
- Familiarity with various elements of supply chain in a diversified manufacturing environment.
- APICS CPIM or IBF certification is considered an asset.
- Possesses a global and strategic mindset, able to think beyond SKU level with strong leadership and adaptability to change.
- Effective and timely communication with stakeholders, demonstrating initiative and diligence in resolving issues through collaborative relationships.
