Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a part-time Loss Prevention Officer for our state-of-the-art facility in Johnstown, ON The Loss Prevention Officer is a new role to accommodate growth in our expanding distribution centre. **Loss Prevention Gatehouse Associate, Job Highlights**:
Control and document the Gatehouse access points of incoming and outgoing trucks, visitors and contractors;
Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities.

Operate and monitor camera security systems;
Maintain order and staff safety contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
Assist in the execution of loss prevention activities and programs;
Observe and supervise security camera systems;
Accurately track all inbound/outbound transportation traffic;
Provide direct support to the Loss Prevention Team and Facility Operations;
Complete designated tasks as directed by the Loss Prevention Supervisor.

Communicate arrivals and departures of shipments to the Operations and LP Team;
**Loss Prevention Gatehouse Associate, Key Qualifications**:
Current Valid Security License a MUST

Computer competency, including MS Word and MS Outlook;
Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal;
Reliability, dependability and trustworthiness are essential.

Self-motivated; able to work without direct supervision and is able to take control of situations requiring immediate attention

Demonstrated ability to deal with emergency/stressful situations in a calm and professional manner

Loss Prevention Gatehouse Associate, Job Assets
Diploma in Law Enforcement and/or Police Foundations;
Bilingual.

Continental Shifts
Week 1- Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday 07:00-19:00
Week 2- Sunday, Monday, Thursday & Friday 07:00-19:00
