Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a part-time Loss Prevention Officer for our state-of-the-art facility in Johnstown, ON The Loss Prevention Officer is a new role to accommodate growth in our expanding distribution centre. **Loss Prevention Gatehouse Associate, Job Highlights**:

- Control and document the Gatehouse access points of incoming and outgoing trucks, visitors and contractors;
- Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities.
- Operate and monitor camera security systems;
- Maintain order and staff safety contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
- Assist in the execution of loss prevention activities and programs;
- Observe and supervise security camera systems;
- Accurately track all inbound/outbound transportation traffic;
- Provide direct support to the Loss Prevention Team and Facility Operations;
- Complete designated tasks as directed by the Loss Prevention Supervisor.
- Communicate arrivals and departures of shipments to the Operations and LP Team;
**Loss Prevention Gatehouse Associate, Key Qualifications**:

- Current Valid Security License a **MUST**:

- Computer competency, including MS Word and MS Outlook;
- Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal;
- Reliability, dependability and trustworthiness are essential.
- Self-motivated; able to work without direct supervision and is able to take control of situations requiring immediate attention
- Demonstrated ability to deal with emergency/stressful situations in a calm and professional manner

**Loss Prevention Gatehouse Associate, Job Assets**
- Diploma in Law Enforcement and/or Police Foundations;
- Bilingual.

**Loss Prevention Gatehouse Associate, Job Schedule**:
Monday
- Friday 11:00-16:00

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week

**Salary**: From $18.90 per hour
