Business Analyst

The IT Performance Analysis team is looking for a Business Analyst to improve the reporting process.

**Your day-to-day**
- Gather, document, and analyze the business needs of the Information Technology Vice Presidency (ITVP) in terms of producing synthesized management information, particularly in terms of IT performance.
- Conceptualize and produce various information rendering formats such as dashboards or detailed reports from various data sources.
- Develop and propose new performance measures such as financial and operational KPIs.
- Support ITVP applicants from requirement gathering to delivery by ensuring quality of service.
- Leverage the services offered by the ITVP Data Management team and work closely with them in the development of data models and business intelligence (BI) solutions required by ITVP.
- Ensures that the work performed is in accordance with the organization's guidelines, standards, and directives.
- Within the scope of his mandate and at the ITVP level, acts as a liaison with other sectors to ensure harmonization of business data analysis and reporting practices for the management team.
- Conduct rigorous, comprehensive, high quality, evidence-based analysis.
- Actively contribute to solving business problems and proposing solutions to improve processes and ways of doing business.
- Maintain knowledge of the various data models and data exploitation tools.

**Your profile**
- Have a DEC or BAC in computer science, administration, or any other relevant training at the same level.
- Have 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar field or role.
- Advanced knowledge of the Power BI tool
- Good communication skills and ability to communicate knowledge.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with stakeholders from various sectors and of varying hierarchical levels.
- Excellent French language skills, both oral and written, due to frequent interaction with French speaking colleagues and internal partners.
- Knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry (asset).
