**Job Summary**

**Job Title**: Mechanical Maintenance Electrician/Millwright

**Position Description and Objectives**:
The Maintenance Electrician/Millwright is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and machinery within manufacturing facilities. This position combines the skills of both an electrician and a millwright, making it a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of various production processes and equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, electrical systems, control panels and transformers.
- Conduct routine maintenance on electrical equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical/electrical issues and implement corrective actions to keep machinery running smoothly.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to extend the life of equipment and reduce the risk of failure.
- Perform electrical installations and upgrades following local electrical codes and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Input data into computerized maintenance systems for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Responsible for PSRs.
- Align and calibrate mechanical systems to ensure precise operation.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing maintenance tasks.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices at all times.
- Comply with electrical and mechanical codes, ensuring installations and repairs are up to standard.
- Coordinate with other maintenance team members and production staff to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production schedules.
- Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to identify and implement improvement opportunities in machinery and processes.
- Stay updated with advancements in electrical and mechanical technologies and best practices.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

**Qualifications / Experience / Education**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or apprenticeship in electrical and mechanical fields is preferred.
- Valid electrician and millwright licenses/certifications as required by local regulations.
- Proven experience as a maintenance electrician and millwright, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of PLC controllers.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and their interdependencies.
- Proficient in reading electrical and mechanical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good physical condition, as the job may involve lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
- Excellent attention to detail and a safety-conscious mindset.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $34.60-$36.10 per hour
