**Job Title**: Maintenance Technician - Entry Level
**Reports To**: Operations Manager
**Role Purpose**: Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of machines. This includes ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime, and supporting production goals.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine maintenance and trouble shooting on machines, including soldering equipment, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, wave/selective solder machines, compressors and inspection systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize machine performance and improve production processes.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide training and support to operators on proper machine usage and maintenance procedures.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Perform general building maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, HVAC and electrical
- Respond to facility-related emergencies and perform necessary repairs.
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a electronics manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in building maintenance and facility management is a plus.
